EB-1A final merits determination

Final merits is the second half of the USCIS test. Officers first check whether three criteria (or one major award) are even in the file. Then they look at everything together.

What the officer is asking

Has the person shown sustained national or international acclaim, not a one-year spike? Does the record show they sit in a small group at the top of the field? USCIS says passing Step 1 does not automatically answer those questions.

Letters help only if the facts in them are backed by papers, citations, licenses, press about you, or independent use. Volume of PDFs is not the same as quality.

How this site uses it

The report scores Step 1 and a separate final-merits read. That is a planning view. It is not a prediction of approval.

This is not a law firm and does not file petitions. USCIS decides each case on its own record.
