Original contributions: a product or method others in the industry adopted or licensed
Critical role in a company that has a distinguished reputation
Published material about you in major trade or business media
High salary or remuneration vs independent business-role surveys, if that is honest on the file

What often does not hold up

Funding round as if it were an award for excellence
Performing-arts commercial success for software revenue, that box usually does not apply
Press that is only about the company, not about you

EB-1A is a self-petition. You can be in any country. The statute names five fields (sciences, arts, education, business, athletics). Meeting three criteria is only Step 1. Final merits still has to show sustained acclaim.
