EB-1A lawyer or attorney: when to hire one
Searches for “EB1A lawyer” and “EB1A attorney” usually mean someone is about to write a large check. This site is not that firm. It is a scoring tool so you can see the file before you hire counsel, or so you can walk into the consult with the gaps named.
What a lawyer does that this site does not
A licensed immigration attorney can represent you, sign strategy, draft the petition letter, and file Form I-140. We do not. We map exhibits to the ten criteria, flag holes officers often raise, and give you a PDF or Word file to take to that meeting.
If the free check is thin, paying $15,000 to $25,000 to hear the same gaps is usually later, not first. If three boxes look exhibit-backed, that is when counsel is worth the hour.
When you still need an attorney
You are ready to file. You received an RFE, NOID, or denial. You have a complicated history (prior filings, J-1, removal, a thick NIW vs EB-1A choice). You want someone on the record with USCIS. None of that is a website score.
NIW lawyers and O-1 lawyers
Those are different filings. We do not score NIW or O-1, and we do not match you with a lawyer. Read EB-1A vs NIW and EB-1A vs O-1, then take a thin EB-1A result to counsel if that is the question.
This is not a law firm and does not file petitions. USCIS decides each case on its own record.
